On-Off – BEP 701 Battery Switches

This ensures the switch meets ABYC requirements. Control knob can be removed by switching to counter-clockwise 45° position. All bep switches are tested Independently to this specification by a 3rd party laboratory. The control knob can be removed by switching to an counterclockwise 45 degree position. Ignition protected.

Operation: on/off, 1250a dc cranking 10 sec, 455a dc intermittent 5 min, rating: 275a dc continuous 1hr, voltage: 48V DC, Stud Size: 2x3/8" 10mm. Patented contour locking System allows switch to be a stand alone unit, or locked together with other switches. The continuous and intermittent ratings are tested at 110% of specified ratings.

The rear cover insulating the rear terminals against any short circuits. The test is to determine the maximum current the switch can handle for the stated time, without the rear terminals exceeding 100 deg C 212 deg F above the ambient temperature. This ensures that the switch meets ABYC requirements. This control knob also features an interchangeable labeling system allowing a full range of applications Item # 713 or 715.

This switch offers a number of unique features, allowing it to be a stand alone unit, the highlight being the patented Contour Locking System, or locked together with other switches. Three removable side plates for access of up to 1/0 cables plus a rear cover insulating the rear terminals against any short circuits.
